Snapped: Austin City Limits 2016, Austin, Texas

Three days in Austin with stage favourites

Texas saw the return of the three-day extravaganza Austin City Limits, also lovingly abbreviated as ACL return to its namesake city. The double weekender welcomed major headliners like Radiohead and Kendrick Lamar alongside electronic standouts like Flume, AlunaGeorge, Madeon & Porter Robinson and Bob Moses.

Crowd favourites like Flume and AlunaGeorge - each supporting their own most recent album releases - failed to disappoint (as usual) to massive audiences while newer players like electronic and rock crossover band Bob Moses managed to break beyond their melodic, chilled out album sound and deliver a performance to remember.

Porter Robinson and Madeon have most recently teamed up to announce their joint Shelter tour, which saw the first live performance take place at none other than Austin City Limits. Arriving to high expectations, largely from Porter Robinson's already celebrated live show, the duo debuted and proved that the collaboration is a worthy one to catch sometime this autumn.

Live crooner Gallant blew his attentive audience away on Day 2 of the festival with impossibly high notes and an unmatchable energy and stage presence. Despite the family-friendly feel of the festival, crossover acts like Gallant and Jack Garratt were able to satisfy attendees from all across the spectrum for a memorable Austin City Limits.
