Snapped: 10 Years of Movement Detroit

See what went down in The D

Every year for the past 16 years, the city of Detroit rages on for three days straight in honor of techno. With enough lawless Movement pre-parties and afterparties to keep people out all night and day, it's an impressive feat that so many people actually make it to the festival.

While it's possible to see almost every DJ on the lineup at an afterparty in a club, warehouse or abandoned church, you won't catch acts like Modeselektor (live) and Kraftwerk 3-D anywhere else in Detroit besides the impressive Movement main stage.

With six stages of music bumping from noon until midnight, there really isn't a bad time to be a the festival. Acts like Kyle Hall, DJ Tennis and Anja Schneider ensured that Hart Plaza would still be packed by 5pm even on a what one might except would be a sluggish day three.

Until next year Detroit! View some snaps from Movement's 10-year anniversary festival.
