Deadmau5 might have taken Skrillex under his wing back in the day - releasing his 'Scary Monsters And Nice Sprites' EP on Mau5trap Recordings - but it doesn't look like they'll be releasing anything together at the moment.
After the Mau5 went public with his slagging of Jack Ü's Justin Bieber collaboration 'Where Are Ü Now', Skrillex went on New York radio station AMP 92.3 to have a pop of his own.
"I'll always have love for Joel because he put me on at an early time, but he's an arsehole. And everyone knows that, and he knows that. And that's kinda his thing."
Talking about the diss of the Jack Ü tune, the OWSLA boss basically said he couldn't care less and expressed pity about how the Canadian's "attitude's changed" and how people "are getting tired" with it.
Was that the end of it? Course not. Deadmau5 picked up his favourite weapon of choice - his keyboard (or phone keypad) - and pulled the trigger with a barrage of tweets.
That's only a small selection, but he went on to say he's "scraping by life with my fucking insecurities and successes just fiiiine" and told Skrillex to "give it a fucking rest".
