Trevino narrowly missed out on Tune Of The Month last November with a faultless debut on his Birdie label. Now he joins up with another old d'n'b hand, DJ Lee, as Sideways, resulting in three crisp, thumping tracks.

'Retraced' is all about tempting toms, a jungle-style ragga sample and a catchy riff that builds with stirring strings and drops into a ferocious, growling synth. In the latter part, soft, cosmic bleeps take it stratospheric. On point.
