SFX to auction off Flavorus
The sale will be finalised next month
SFX is set to continue its fire sale of assets with Flavorus put up for auction by the bankrupt events company.
The Flavorus ticketing service which had exclusive rights to EDC and HARD festivals was acquired by SFX in 2014, but will now be sold off. Opening bids are being accepted from May 19, before the auction takes place on May 23 and a sale is finalised on May 26.
Opening bids for the Beatport auction must be submitted by April 28, following the announcement last month that SFX is also selling the online music store.
SFX was extended a lifeline last week when it was granted access to a pool of $15 million to pay artists booked for its summer festivals. It remains to be seen if it can reach solvency again.
