S.U.R.E. kick the year off with early-rave inspired EP 'Summer of '89'

S.U.R.E. have released their latest EP via Brick Sweat Records, 'Summer of '89'.
The record models as a modern-day take on the early rave era through its sounds and samples, comprising of three club-focussed cuts.

Openers '1989' and 'Original' employ euphoric, pumping breakbeats in effort to transport listeners back to the days of the hedonistic illegal rave, whilst 'Reality' takes on a heftier two-step vibe.
"Super excited that these have found a home with Brick Sweat," the duo explain. "These are some of the first S.U.R.E. tracks we ever made, and they perfectly encompass what the project is all about - our spin on throwing it back to the 90s rave era."
"When the lads shared their tunes with us, and we pumped them through the speakers, it was a no-brainer – these tracks had to make it onto our label," added Shae and Sam of Manchester-based Brick Sweat Records. "Our label's moniker pays homage to the rave era and our hometown Manchester, with its red bricks, terraced housing, and abandoned warehouses. This EP perfectly resonated with our label's vision and deep-seated roots.”
