Rusko is undergoing treatment for stomach cancer, cancels all shows

UK bass music innovator Rusko has announced he is cancelling all future gigs as he is undergoing treatment for gastric lymphoma, a type of stomach cancer.

Sharing the news via Twitter, Rusko added that he’s been staying in hospitals in the United States and the UK, finally beginning treatment for the rare, but treatable, form of cancer.

Rusko had a busy summer initially planned, with slots at festivals like F.A.R.M. fest and Toxic Summer as well as tour stops in the US and UK. Although he won’t be making it to any of these performances, he did reveal he’s sitting on a stack of new music that he’s ready to release in the coming months.
