Rushmore

A brief moment of serenity, but the London producer soon switches to eeriness

Trax Couture boss and London artist Rushmore is one of the most exciting producers in the UK right now.

Through work on his own label, Hot Haus Recs and New York's famed Nervous Records, he's demonstrated an ability to cook up intense, frenetic and damn right feisty tunes aimed solely for the dance. 'Dance Show' and 'Notorious D.I.G' are just two picks from those and 'A-N-E' is another that could do enough damage to send you to the emergency room.

The 'World Series' collection on Trax Couture contains some chronic club tracks, with Rushmore pulling in the likes of Akito, Brazilian producer Dreams and Imaabs to be at the helm.

It's only right that the label boss takes care of the first album on Trax, coming in the form of 'Ours After' on July 29. Inspired by a trip to Tokyo, it spans rap, grime and Detroit club tunes and we're premiering 'Out On Our Own'. Beginning in almost a mood of serenity, the addition of thunderous crashes and whizzy synths soon send it into a skippy sense of eeriness.

Listen to it below.
