Rote - 9/10

We reviewed the first BleeD release back in May and they've been quiet since then, and for very good reason. The label head, Volte-Face, has been in the studio with Daniel Avery and Rote is the first releases from the duo under their alias. 'Rote 2' is a mesmerising slice of ethereal techno with deep, throbbing drums that emit a hypnotic pulsating rhythm, while dreamlike pads rise and fall creating a feeling of total escape. Nine minutes of techno heaven.
