Roman Flügel steps up with techno-heavy Essential Mix

Roman Flügel has capped off a successful year by delivering the latest BBC Essential Mix.

The German hotshot, who put out the 'Monday Brain' EP on Hypercolour and 'Sliced Africa' on Dial this year, replicates his production style in the mix with a host of offbeat selections.

Tracks from Randomer, Daniel Avery and Answer Code Request all feature, as well as an unreleased DJ Koze remix and forthcoming Talaboman (John Talabot and Axel Boman) material.
