Richy Ahmed

Menacing cut from the Newcastle producer on Strictly Rhythm

Cosmic, thumping and teeming with winding grooves: that's what Richy Ahmed's tunes are all about.

The Newcastle producer's divided his releases between Hot Creations and Rinse ('Your Love') since 2013, debuting on the former with 'The Drums' and appearing on Jamie Jones and Lee Foss' label again last year with the four-track 'Sneaky Acid'.

If you're looking to check out his DJing abilities this summer, you're not short of options. He's a resident for Paradise at DC-10 in Ibiza, he's lined up for Music On at Amnesia and Kehakuma/Elrow at Space and has Sonus, Eastern Electrics and Creamfields in his festival calendar.

In the middle of all that he'll add Strictly Rhythm to his catalogue with the 'Can't You See' EP. We're premiering the title track, a rather mischievous, wriggly and restless cut with two menacing vocal hooks.

The 'Can't You See' EP is out via Strictly Rhythm on July 13
