Rian Treanor and Mark Fell to play at Algomech Festival’s closing party

The closing party will double up as a Hope not Hate fundraiser

Planet Mu-affiliated producer Rian Treanor and installation artist (and father to Rian) Mark Fell will play at Algomech Festival’s closing party on May 19.

Treanor and Fell will join up with Japanese sound artist Ryoko Akama for a unique performance.

Support will come from Basic Switches and Fizzy.

The party will double up as a Hope not Hate fundraiser. Accordingly, the entry fee is pay-as-you-feel, though the suggested donation is £5+.

Algomech, which describes itself as a ‘festival of Algorithmic and Mechanical Movement’, will also feature workshops and a symposium alongside events and performances.

On May 18, the festival will host an algorave event, Algo/Mesh, showcasing a range of producers that make dance music from live code.

Check out a flyer for the night below.

Algomech Festival returns to Sheffield from 17–19 May. For more information, check out the festival's website.
