Recondite returns to Hotflush with two-tracker

Recondite has announced new tracks for Scuba’s Hotflush imprint.

His return to the UK label is in the form of dark, formidable techno with warming tones. A-side ‘Phalanx’ situates low-brassy pads with the sedated funk bass synths, while ‘Warg’ lurches forward on a stately four-on-the-floor and trance-inspired melodic work.

Since Recondite’s last release on Hotflush in 2014, he's released a string of notable EPs and two full-lengths, 'Iffy' and 'Placid'.

‘Phalanx'/'Warg’ is out on March 18, but can be previewed below.
