Recmix app to launch in January

RecMix is a new recording application for your iPhone that allows you to record, store and (instantly) share your DJ sets and mixes using your mobile phone. It's so solid it's currently the official recording partner of BPM festival and the company are also working with Time Warp NYC.

Combined with an audio interface, the app allows you to record in high quality WAV and M4A and build a library of recordings, which you can then store and keep private or share through in-app streaming, email, social media channels, or direct upload to SoundCloud. RecMix aims to replace bulky portable recording equipment and offers a one-stop solution for recording, storage and distribution of DJ sets to social media and streaming platforms. As a social music discovery platform, RecMix has an important community focus, allowing DJs and listeners to follow artists and discover new music through the app's feed, search tool and by following their friends and favorite artists.

The app is currently in beta and is being tested by a number or well known DJs, with many others having registered interest to install the app once it is launched in early January. You can find some more information on the landing page here.
