Recess releases full line-up for this weekend's Drumsheds takeover
Joining a yet-to-be-announced "special guest headliner" will be Hagan, DJ Nate, DJ EMZ, AyChibs and more
Celebrated nightlife and event series, Recess, has revealed the full line-up for its Drumsheds takeover this weekend.
The event series, which began life close to the 15,000-capacity former IKEA, will return to Tottenham for its "biggest party ever" on Saturday (March 2).
Renowned for championing Black music, Recess will host sets from Hagan, DJ Nate, Keyrah, Donch, DJ EMZ, AyChibs, Edott and many more - as well as a "special guest headliner" who has yet to be announced.

The takeover will be hosted by Fatz Official, Jermz2shoo and Willz, while fans can also expect “heritage funky” sets from Gracious K, MC Versatile, Mista Silva and Ramzee.
Set to welcome a "new era" for Recess, organisers have said that Saturday's party will "set the tone" of what to expect from future events — with “an audio-visual experience built around the sounds that make London pop.”
The event description details that “events of this scale and at a venue like Drumsheds don't come around often, so we're going to make it memorable. Music will be across two rooms: the largest room (X) and the smallest room (Y).”

With over 100 parties spanning from Accra to Ibiza, Recess has become an established international event series with the mission to "create an outstanding party that features all the popular Black music genres in well-known venues”.
Covering a spectrum of music genres, Recess promises the musical offering at Saturday's event will be "accessible to everyone, ensuring it is not exclusive to any specific cohort or community."
The Drumsheds takeover follows the Recessland festival in Margate last year, which garnered a 7,000-strong crowd, as well as a day event in Paris attended by 4,000 partygoers — though this weekend's event will be its "biggest ever" with a 15,000 capacity.
