One of dance music's fastest rising stars took control of the club in the corner of our office
The Lab is our weekly office rave up where we live stream some of the biggest and best names in dance music from genres across the board. For this session we returned to the world of drum 'n' bass and welcome one of dance music's fastest rising stars in Wilkinson.
Signed to Ram Records back in 2010, Wilkinson first conquered the underground by winning Best Breakthrough Producer award at the national d'n'b awards in 2012. Since then he's worked with the likes of Wiley, Chase & Status and Example.
An artist that has truly struck a balance between credible and commercial Wilkinson has well and truly gone from strength-to-strength each year and 2013 saw Wilkinson release the immense single 'Afterglow' that became a top 5 hit in the UK charts.
Wilkinson is showing no sign of slowing down in 2014. Single 'Too Close' feat Detour City was yet another hit and next month he releases single 'Half Light' out June 2 before following it up with his repackaged debut LP Lazers Not Included 2.0, which will be released through RAM / Virgin EMI in August.
