Prepare for a G house meltdown
The Lab is our weekly office rave up where we live stream some of the biggest and best names in dance music powered by our Void soundsystem. For this installment we welcomed Amine Edge & DANCE and their G House sound to take control of the club in the corner of our office.
One of France's hottest exports are the brains behind their label CUFF, adding a punchier side to house with a roster boasting talent Sirus Hood, SION, STUFF, Ryan Blyth. Over the years the two friends from Marseille have also become associated with Exploited and Noir. Not bad for two lads who only played their first gig together two years ago.
In the long list of genres within dance music, Amine Edge & DANCE have created their own unique sound. Describing it as G house, their tracks such as 'Halfway Crooks' (featured on CUFF Vol 1) and their big remix of 'Everyday' by the Adana Twins combines soul, groove, rap, all backed up by some big old bass.
