Rane to unveil new DJ gear "the likes of which have never been seen"

A new line of Battle Ready products is on the way

Influential pro audio equipment manufacturer Rane DJ is set to relaunch since being acquired by InMusic last year and has announced its first line of new DJ gear.

Although little is known of the new equipment, Rane recently sent out a press release which gives clues as to what can be expected. All signs seem to suggest it won't be refreshing its rotary mixers, like the MP2014 and MP2015 which have been a favorite in the industry.

The company assures loyal fans that it will continue to follow the same quality standards it’s become known for, but Rane could be catering to a specific style of DJ: “The same engineering team that set the standards for Rane’s rock-solid performance-based mixers has been collaborating with world-class DJs and their crews to develop new DJ performance tools, the likes of which the industry has never been seen before. Rane calls these unprecedented new products Battle Ready.”

Rane has also announced a new brand manager, DJ Fatfingaz, and together with the Battle Ready line hints at catering to DVS users who utilize battle-friendly mixers.

Look for Rane DJ to debut the new products at this year’s DJ Expo in Atlantic City beginning August 14.
