Raketa in The Lab Pune

Veronika alias Raketa – social education student, rollergirl and a DJ, who searches for new ways of use of creative media in youth work. Also trying to find new ways of supporting young musicians, especially through radio and series of workshops with musicians' fine skills.

Her DJ sets – although rooting in liquid drum & bass – consist of many UK bass subgenres such as grime, jungle, UK garage and all the way to US ghetto scene with electro, ghettotek and footwork. Those are melody-driven, dance-oriented sets that keep evolving in breakage as well as in grooviness.

In over 60 gigs over last 4 years she's been a guest on different events across Slovenia (K4DNB, Keep in mind festival, Sistaz vith Attitude, Dance of the Undead), Croatia (Bass Coutue presents Raketa; Heisse scheisse w. Raketa & Babilonska), Netherlands (DJ set for Maxi radio) and UK (DJ set for Mode radio). She's also curating solo drum & bass night project RUSH in KUD Channel Zero and Vibe check, a bi-weekly show about bass club culture on Radio Študent.
