Puff Daddy shares his 'Bad Boy Story' in a new documentary
‘Can’t Stop, Won’t Stop’ will be exclusive to Apple Music
Puff Daddy has teamed up with Apple Music to stream his upcoming documentary 'Can’t Stop, Won’t Stop: A Bad Boy Story'.
Chronicling Bad Boy Entertainment’s 20-year history, the film, directed by Daniel Kaufman, centres around 2015’s Bad Boy anniversary shows and Combs' attempts to reunite the dynamic roster.
Looking at the labels' influential yet turbulent history, expect to see features from Bad Boy artists like Lil Kim and Mase, alongside Uptown Records founder Andre Harrell, Clive Davis and Voletta Wallace, Notorious B.I.G’s mother.
Combs said in a statement: “I knew this was a story that should be shared with the world. I'm blessed to also be working with Apple to showcase the film and share Bad Boy's history and impact with fans. The support Live Nation, Apple and everyone on the team has given to this project is a true testament to the Bad Boy legacy."
Apple Music has scheduled the release for June 25, and will hold the rights to exclusively stream for the next year. Other Apple Music exclusives include Skepta's 'Greatness Only'.
