Production is underway on Bob Moog documentary ‘Electronic Voyager’
It’s expected to come out by summer 2017
A new documentary following Michelle Moog-Koussa as she explores the life of her late father, pioneering electronic instrument engineer Bob Moog, is in production, with the release date planned for spring/summer next year.
The film is being made by the crew responsible for modular synth film I Dream Of Wires in collaboration with the Bob Moog foundation.
It will trace Moog’s life from his birth in New York to the formation of his Moog Inc. company in New Carolina and the work he dedicated his life to there, aiming to “give viewers an insight into the man behind the iconic Moog brand.”
A Kickstarter campaign to fund the endeavour has been launched, but Moog-Koussa has revealed that production is already underway.
There’s a number of perks on offer for pledgers to the campaign, including Moog instruments, posters, t-shirts and production credits for the film. Head to Kickstarter back it.
