Prince's vault opening reveals an enormous catalogue of unreleased music
There's enough to release a new album every year for the next century
In the wake of Prince's passing, his estate has gone ahead and opened the icon's personal vault which has unearthed an exciting and extensive catalogue of new music.
The singer did not leave a will, leaving Bremer Trust to be posthumously appointed as the administrator of his estate. Since Prince had also failed to leave behind the code to his personal vault, Bremer Trust facilitated the vault to be drilled and opened.
Reportedly, the vault was holding a plethora of new music - supposedly enough to release a new album every year for the next 100 years.
No plans have been announced for the treasure trove of new music yet, but without a will and the explosive response that has already helped relaunch Prince's released music back into top chart positions, it will be an interesting journey ahead for the unreleased tunes.
