Prince's purple driveway mansion is up for auction

A pricey and princely island retreat in Turks and Caicos

Prince's luxurious home and property in the Turks and Caicos is now up for auction.

Following the tragic passing of the legendary artist back in 2016, Prince's estate has been busy handling all of the artist's assets and unfinished work. In the near future, we can expect to see the publication of Prince's unfinished memoir, a new Prince album produced by Jay Z with loads of unreleased material, an orchestral Prince tribute tour with Questlove and other Prince related memorials.

Prince's island retreat in the Turks and Caicos is the last of the artist's properties to be sold since his death. The 5.74-acre property is surrounded by water on three sides and includes two private beaches, a marina and several buildings with more than 10,000 square feet. The most notable feature is a long, winding driveway that Prince painted his signature color purple after buying the property in 2011.

The sealed-bid auction ends on July 12 and bidders must provide a $100,000 dollar registration deposit. While there’s no minimum bid, estimates say that the property will fetch somewhere in the ballpark of $15 million dollars.
