President Obama finally gets offered a job at Spotify

Yes, a Nobel Peace Prize is a definite requirement

Barack Obama recently made headlines when he jokingly mentioned he was still waiting for his job at Spotify in response to what he would do after his second presidential term ended.

Today, the music streaming platform's CEO Daniel Ek has answered the president's request, linking to a complete job listing written specially for Obama.

Ek tweeted: "I heard you were interested in a role at Spotify. Have you seen this one?"

The position, titled 'President of Playlists', cites a number of key responsibilities like "provide world-class leadership to our playlist editors and supporting staff", "analyze data and performance in a clear and transparent manner" and "celebrate our diversity of playlists, from Viva Latino to Rap Caviar".

Listed criteria includes having "at least eight years of experience running a highly-regarded nation", as well as "someone with good team spirit, excellent work ethic, a friendly and warm attitude and a Nobel Peace Prize", plus special mention of a birthday appearance by Kendrick Lamar.

President Obama, who most definitely fits the bill, has always been keen of his Spotify fanbase, consistently putting out his own, highly-coveted playlists throughout the seasons.
