Premiere: Steffi reworks Evvol's ‘Physical L.U.V’ into a dreamy electro romp
The Panorama Bar regular produces one for the lovers
Released last year, Evvol’s ‘Physical L.U.V’ on !K7 was an acclaimed slice of dark and atmospheric synth pop.
As the follow-up to their debut album Eternalism, the five-track EP showed the Berlin-based duo's decision to head back into their Kreuzberg studio after tours with Peaches and YACHT paid off.
Now the title track has been given the special treatment by Panorama Bar’s first lady and Ostgut Ton regular Steffi and her Klakson Records co-founder Dexter.
Today we have the pleasure of premiering Steffi’s remix. Stripping away the live elements of the original, the updated take maintains the atmosphere of the original while turning it into a fully synthesised, electro romp. It's certainly one for the lovers.
