Premiere: Seb Wildblood preps for a ‘Wet Summer’ with dreamy soulful house

A whimsical and ethereal soundscape

Church label boss Seb Wildblood lends his talents to Omena Records for a mini LP with a cheeky title of ‘:~^’, featuring the soothing house sound of ‘Wet Summer’.

With grainy atmospherics, Wildblood lays the foundation for a steady house rhythm and melodic riffs highlighted by whimsical tones and subtle vocals. He’s been known to produce a variety of styles and ‘Wet Summer’ seems to broaden his output.

Mixmag reached out to Wildblood who described the process of producing the mini LP: “This is a collection of tracks I've been working on over the last year or so. Most of the music I produce and also release on the labels has a nostalgic feel to it and this record follows the same path. Hopefully there's something for every occasion - the club, cooking dinner, walking the dog...".

Seb Wildblood’s ‘:~^’ LP is set for release on April 17 via Omena Records. Pre-order it here.
