Premiere: Rote is techno's most exciting new duo

They've got a new EP coming out via BleeD

If you've been keeping an eye on the London party scene over the last five years or so then you'll have no doubt seen the work that BleeD do. Helmed by Volte-Face, the LDN outfit has been curating amazing, darkness-tinged nights at some of the best-loved venues around the city.

Last year, BleeD went from raves to records when they set up an imprint of the same name and despite being only a year into proceedings, the quality of the musical output has been extremely good.

Volte-Face kicked things off with the 'Charlatan' EP before releasing two more records and DJ Spider was also invited along for the 'Burning Museums' EP but now it's time for Rote to make their comeback following their debut last year. DJ Nobu even offered up a remix on their debut EP which we had the first spin of.

Rote is Volte-Face and Daniel Avery and the pair couldn't be exciting us more right now. 'EP2' features four more exceptionally atmospheric cuts and we've got the premiere of 'Rote4' for you.

Fierce kicks, a wash of static and venomous, almost intergalactic barbs fly in and out of focus, making this an eerie yet dancefloor-focused track. It'll no doubt be coming to a darkened room near you very soon so check it out below.

Rote's 'EP2' will be released on October 7 via BleeD
