Premiere: Natlek & Nobel unleash a dancefloor weapon with ‘Our Stab Track’

Italian stripped-back club producers Natlek & Nobel have linked up to deliver a collaborative EP on the Merge Layers imprint they co-helm.

Following on from ‘Merge Layers Functions Vol. 1’, the label's debut outing from November last year featuring Dean Lyon and Kieran Loftus, the duo’s new ‘Our Stap’ EP showcases more ice-cold productions underpinned by raw percussive lines and off-kilter synth work.

The EP comes backed with DJ Octopus and Helix remixes, put our pick of the bunch is opening cut ‘Our Stab Track’. It opens eerily with uncanny synth shimmers and a dampened, repetitive snare hit, before bursting into life with rolling drums and those promised rave stabs combining to ignite infectious dancefloor fire.
