Premiere: Mount Liberation Unlimited inject a ray of sunshine into the winter
Studio Barnhus strike gold again
Whenever a release has the Studio Barnhus stamp on it, it means it's going to bear a certain level of quality and promote a particular sound. Axel Boman, Pedrodollar and man of the moment Kornél Kovács are undisputed champions of house, disco and dreamy electronica and we look forward to every record.
This year saw Kornél release his debut album 'The Bells' to rave reviews across the board and his Lab LDN debut has been on repeat ever since he rolled through to our office back in May.
To put it simply, the set was a joy on the ears and one of the tracks played really stood out, as it did when we heard it in his recent Beats In Space mix. The tune in question was Mount Liberation Unlimited's 'Double Dance Lover' and over the last 12 months it's brought smiles to dancers all around the world.
Having released three EPs previously, the Swedish duo have gone all out with their latest release. The Disko Dubb of 'Double Dance Lover' was put on SoundCloud last week and the 15-minute epic is a voyage through big synths, huge riffs and a whole lotta love.
We've got the premiere of the original mix and we're thrilled to be able to present the track that we've been after for so long. If this song doesn't fill you with warmth in the winter months then we're not sure what will. The sample, those breakdowns, that percussion; top marks all round.
'Double Dance Lover' by Mount Liberation Unlimited will be released on December 16
