Moody Good
The London-based hotshot Moody Good has traded MTA for OWSLA for his latest release
Fans of raucous, noisy and infectiously loud music, take note, this one goes in hard. London producer Moody Good has earned his plaudits releasing music on Chase & Status' ever-growing MTA Records and now he's set to drop his new album next month.
His latest single comes in the form of 'Hotplate' and it's being released via another boundary-breaking imprint, OWSLA, as well as MTA Records.
Skrillex's label has gone from strength-to-strength and Moody Good, along with fellow MTA label-mate Kyntro, has built a record that perfectly sums up what the record-label is all about.
Starting off as a half-time hip-hop stepper, the gnarly vocals of Knytro wind in and out of delicate string picks before everything changes, dramatically. What can only be described as an almighty explosion of noise suddenly kicks in and from then on there's no turning back. We're feeling this.
'The Moody Good' LP will be released on June 3 via OWSLA and MTA Records, you can preorder it here: http://smarturl.it/moodygood
