He's easily one of the world's best DJs and now the Innervisions co-founder Dixon has remixed Joy Wellboy
After joining Ellen Allien's stellar BPitch Control imprint last year Joy Wellboy, the duo consisting of Joy Adegoke und Wim Janssens, have made fast work of establishing themselves within the label ranks.
Their debut release via BPitch, 'Yorokobi's Mantra', was included in the label's end of year 'Where The Wind Blows' compilation and now the duo return with their first offering of 2014.
The EP, entitled 'Before The Sunrise', is set to drop on May 23 and perhaps what's most exciting about the release are the strong set of remixes that accompany it, most notably an edit by the Innervisions co-founder Dixon that we have the premiere of.
A man who needs no introduction, Dixon has been dazzling us with his side-winding DJ sets and hypnotic productions for years, and this remix stands as further testimony to his talent.
Prepare yourselves for an ever-building and emotive track, one that uses the delicate vocals against an epic, rolling backdrop. This is Dixon at his best.
