Premiere: Joseph Capriati and Flavio Folco produce a heaving analogue cut
Available to buy March 10
Predominantly known for his DJing prowess, Joseph Capriati’s production input has slowed down in recent years. Therefore, it’s always a welcome surprise when new material comes our way.
The Italian has mainly nurtured his bruising productions on the mighty Drumcode label, but last year he struck out on his own with Redimensions.
Debuting with a collaborative effort between Drumcode boss Adam Beyer and Capriati, the label is already making a name for uncompromising techno cuts.
For the imprint’s follow-up, Capriati has teamed up with upcoming Italian talent Falvio Folco for a heaving, no-holds barred workout.
The fully analogue production features thumping drums, a rumbling bassline and evolving synths that reach a stunning conclusion and we’ve got the first play below.
Prospective Journeys will be available on vinyl on March 10, Beatport on March 24 and everywhere else on April 7
