Thomas Melchior whips out his Melchior Productions Ltd alias for a remix of John Talabot
While he's not a man of many releases, Spanish producer John Talabot has wowed which pretty much every one he's dropped. His debut album 'Fin' was released in 2012 to widespread critical acclaim and his next project was his 2013 DJ Kicks CD on !K7 Records. Much like 'Fin', his DJ Kicks mix CD was hailed as one of the best of the year and the trippy, serene and highly-intelligent compilation once again brought Talabot a new set of praise and followers.
Included in the mix was a new, original track from Talabot called 'Without You' and the cut finally sees full release today. Of course there's a set of sterling remixes to accompany the track and we're premiering Thomas Melchior's edit.
Under his Melchior Productions Ltd alias, the German producer has done away with the epic synths and stripped everything back to a bumping house groove, one that features a fiery pace and delicate tones. Cracking.
