Premiere: JoeFarr fires out of the blocks with User Experience debut

Storm JoeFarr

The UK has been rocked today by the force of Storm Doris, and we’re adding to the chaos with a ferocious new cut from JoeFarr.

The techno artist has never been one to hold back with his productions, and the debut release for his newly-minted User Experience label keeps this bold form going.

Writing about the imprint in a press release, JoeFarr revealed: “My experience of the music industry has been amazing in some respects and a bit strange and quite isolating in others, so I thought I’d take that isolation one step further and move to Wales, build a studio in a container with no windows and do everything myself, well, apart from the distribution and the artwork, I’m not that stupid.”

He’s got a schedule of eight outings planned spanning through to May 2018, and if the label is a success he plans to continue releasing music from a roster of artists.

The debut EP opens with ‘Any Other Way’, which is underpinned by battering ram percussion at its base, while abrasive textures surge from the depths like a biblical swarm of warped mechanics. Listen below.
