Premiere: Jamie Jones and Nathan Barato team up on 'Cherry's Revenge'
The duo prepare a two-track Hottrax release
When a pairing of names like Jamie Jones and Nathan Barato come together, the outcome is almost guaranteed to be a highlight of the year.
Toronto native Nathan Barato, also a longtime staple of Hot Creations, makes a perfect collaborator for Jamie Jones. 'Cherry's Revenge', the title track of their forthcoming EP, is as smooth as any house savant could ask for. Pulling in the subdued squeals of sirens and blasting their jazzy bass line with buzzing drum breaks allows 'Cherry's Revenge' to provide that perfectly satisfying house jive.
Along with another collaborative original called 'Cheating Chester', 'Cherry's Revenge' is out on Hottrax on July 14.
