Howling (Midland Remix)
Midland steps up to remix the new one by Howling and it's pretty mesmerising
Take two gifted artists in the form of Ry X and Âme's Frank Wiedemann, stick them together and what do you get? Of course it's Howling and they've been responsible for a wealth of emotion-drenched electronic music.
There have been a few excellent EPs on Innervisions and although they don't release with great frequency, the pair have found a home of sorts on Monkeytown Records and their last two records have come via Modeselektor's imprint.
'Stole The Night' is their latest single and it's a melodic, delicate and atmospheric track that stimulates all the senses with big basslines and serene vocals. On remix duty is Frank Wiedemann and Midland and we've got the premiere of the latter's edit, coming out on both Monkeytown and Counter Records.
The Aus and Graded hero has extended the track and added a new level of deepness. It's got a house feel and it's a perfect set opener or bridge into something different. We're really feeling this. Check it.
