Premiere: Fur Coat’s new effort is simply ‘Transcendental’

The duo make a triumphant return to Last Night On Earth

Since being discovered by Crosstown Rebels boss Damian Lazarus seven years ago, Fur Coat have poured out a seemingly endless supply of pumping tech floor fillers.

The Venezuelan-born, Barcelona-based duo has churned out the tunes on esteemed imprints like Crosstown Rebels, BPitch Control and Watergate Records, dropping some memorable cuts along the way.

2012’s ‘You And I’, a pumping collaboration with vocalist Cari Golden, was the first track to firmly put them in the conscience of club-goers the world over, following it up with the ‘Mind Over Matter’ album later that year. After a short period of down time, the duo returned in 2014, marking their first material away from Crosstown Rebels with a huge EP of bumping bass on Hot Creations.

A year later they linked up with Sasha’s Last Night On Earth label to deliver a moody progressive house EP. Two years on and they’re back with another synthetic workout on the legendary imprint.

Marking the label’s 66th release, the ‘Transcendental’ EP is a trip through the mystical side of house and techno and features a remix from Argentina’s Shall Ocin.

We’ve got the premiere of the EP’s title track ‘Transcendental’ which you can listen to below.
