Premiere: Bleaching Agent's 'Operai' is a cascade of broken mechanics

Deranged, industrial sounds on Power Vacuum

Al Matthews has developed a fearsome reputation for the hard-hitting, corrosive techno he unleashes under the alias Bleaching Agent through labels such as Opal Tapes and Komisch. His DJ sets are similarly intense, moving through propulsive sounds with abandon.

Next up the UK artist has contributed a track to the third instalment of Power Vacuum's esteemed 'Vectors' compilation series. Previous outings in the series have seen the likes of Objekt and Cylob turn in mind-bending, warped industrial mutations, and 'Vectors 3' continues the theme, with more out-there efforts from Dr. Skime, Pan Daijing, Beau Wanzer, Duran Duran Duran, Bintus, Inca Pax and Martyn Hare.

Rounding off the tracklist is Bleaching Agent's twisted 'Operai', which courses with a palpitating energy that is tailor-made to send dancers into frenzied head spaces. Broken percussion leads the charge, with surrounding distorted textures taking the cut further down a disorientating rabbit hole. Listen below.

'Vectors 3' is out on January 24, purchase it from Power Vacuum's Bandcamp page
