Premiere: Air Max '97 serves up backflipped techno belter 'Chalk'

How can you tell if a track is backflipped? When it's clearly been made to fuck with people's minds and feet deep in the club.
Air Max '97 has pushed, pulled, stretched and melted preconceptions of what club music should sound like since his first release in 2013. Put simply, his music refuses to conform, is incapable of straightening out. Hitting play on one of his EPs for the first time always unleashes surprise.
Early work for the Liminal Sounds label was distinctly Day-Glo but these days Air Max '97 travels a darker, duskier route, though one still peppered with pot holes and bumps that'd wrong foot even the headsiest of heads. Forthcoming EP 'Vessel' is his most complete work yet, his signature unpredictability primed for the late nights.
