Powdered alcohol pending approval from US government

A powdered alcohol product called Palcohol looked set to go on sale in the United States but it's now emerged that the government withdrew its label approval due to "fill level" discrepancies.
Initially reported that the Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau had given it the go ahead, the Associated Press is now reporting that the company will have to resubmit its label application.
According to the Palcohol website, the founder of the company came up with the idea to make it easier for those wanting to consume alcohol after energetic activities, without having to carry bottles, although it wouldn't be surprising for people to sneak pouches into clubs in order to save money.
Those hoping it will be on shelves sometime soon will be treated to powdered rum and vodka, which can be added to water or other liquids, while cocktails are represented by Cosmopolitan, Mojito, a Powderita and Lemon Drop.
However, for those thinking it will be a good idea to snort, think again. The website addresses any "goofballs" wishing to do so by saying "it would take more than a half of a cup of powder to get the equivalent of one drink up your nose".
