PopGun opens a new Brooklyn venue, Elsewhere
From the same team who brought us Glasslands
Event and music curator PopGun Presents will be opening a brand new venue in Brooklyn this autumn called Elsewhere.
Located in the heart of Bushwick, PopGun's fresh venue and art space will share its neighborhood with the recently opened House Of Yes.
The brand, which started in 2008, is known to throw some of the most influential parties in New York City - focusing on the valor and creativity of niche artist line-ups.
The promoters' popularity grew in parallel with the stature of their bookings, seen through artists they've brought into the city like Disclosure, Stormzy, and showcases for Kitsune and Ninja Tune.
Owners Rami Haykal and Jake Rosenthal previously operated Glasslands, a South Williamsburg venue that closed back in 2014. The new Elsewhere space will be housed in a 24,000 square foot converted warehouse and boast a progressive and experimental outlook.
