Pizza Hut gets a slice of the DJ game with playable decks

This year's been a fruitful one for DJ tech heads. Pioneer DJ added to its Nexus line and unveiled a new all-in-one controller and, just this week, Numark announced its portable turntable ideal for scratching.

Forget about all those, though, because there's a new manufacturer in town: Pizza Hut. The fast food chain has worked with electronics company Novalia to create playable pizza box DJ decks. Two turntables, a cross fader, pitch control, cue controls are all included.

You're probably thinking just how possible it is to play out on a a pair of pizza boxes. Here's how: the decks are Bluetooth compatible which means you can sync them to your smartphone or laptop via software like Serato and use the MIDI feature to assign each button on the decks to the corresponding ones on your chosen software.

There will only be five up for grabs from select Pizza Hut stores, so you better keep your eyes peeled to get a slice of the action.
