'Pitch Black City Reunion' is the latest jazz-inflected track by Moodymann
Out on his label KDJ
Moodymann and his KDJ label have announced an upcoming single.
The release features two tracks, both house but fuelled by a combination of jazz and soft vocals. ‘Pitch Black City Reunion’, which was recorded live in Detroit, is the vinyl’s leading track.
The Parliament Funkadelic remixes were the musician’s last releases, which came out last year.
You'll be able to catch Moodymann at Farr Festival this year alongside the likes of Mount Kimbie, Dixon, Shanti Celeste and Eclair Fifi. Let's hope he doesn't get roasted like he did at Field Day last year.
