Pioneer DJ's TOUR1 series will be released in August

The new CDJ and mixer are aimed at large events

Remember the forthcoming TOUR1 Pioneer DJ gear we reported on in January? Plenty more photos and details have emerged ahead of its release in August.

The series doesn't come cheap, the CDJ-TOUR1 costing $4,999 and the DJM-TOUR1 priced at $5,999. They look to be well worth the splash of cash, though, with both the CDJ and DJM accompanied by a 13" fold-out screen for easier browsing and track selection, with ESS technology integrated in the CDJ to ensure crisp audio delivery at the large-scale events these are intended for.

Similar in appearance to the CDJ-2000NXS2, the CDJ also features rekordbox software, with both pieces of kit fitted with a lockable LAN port for durable connection.

The mixer has back-to-back sets in mind with two headphone inputs, meaning DJs can cue tracks without hearing their partner's tunes, and tunes played will be available to the public thanks to Pioneer DJ's KUVO software.

We imagine these will be on show at plenty of festivals through the summer so keep your eyes peeled.
