Pioneer Launches The XDJ-RX: An All-In-One Monster DJ Rig

Pioneer keep the big NAMM announcements coming

Following yesterday's announcement from NAMM (National Association of Musician Merchants) that legendary synth purveyor Moog would be relaunching the iconic large-scale 55, 35, and Model 15 modular synth units, Pioneer has stepped in with a huge gear announcement.

The Japanese tech company is set to release the XDJ-RX, an all-in-one turntable and mixer rig which incorporates its tune archiving software rekordbox™. The unit seems like a move from Pioneer to crack that awkward market that lingers a couple of grand short of a full CDJ-2000-NXS set-up but somewhere above the existing all-in-one units.

Some features include a full-colour 7" LED display, a loop function which enables live remixing, effects inherited from the DJM-900NXS, and two USB ports, one allowing for track storage and the other to record your set.

The XDJ-RX will be available in late February, and is expected to retail for around €1499 (or £1100/$1700).
