Pioneer DJ introduces Google Drive access to rekordbox

The Cloud Library is now available to use with the latest version of rekordbox

A new update to Pioneer DJ’s rekordbox allows users to access their Google Drive.

The Cloud library is now available via rekordbox which could previously only access Dropbox.

As part of the new update - version 6.7.4 - Mac and Windows users can find their music library through Google Drive on rekordbox.

The rekordbox website explains: “By linking your Google Drive account with your rekordbox account, you can now upload tracks in your library from rekordbox to your cloud storage. And if you log in with the same rekordbox account, you can access the library from multiple PC/Mac computers, so you can seamlessly manage your library.”

Earlier this year, rekordbox released a huge update offering a range of new features and add-ons.

One of these new features included a free app allowing users to make a portable DJ setup with just an iPhone or iPad.

The app allows you to control a multitude of effects on a virtual set of decks and even the option to link the app with a set of DDJs or CDJs.

Additional performance features can be added at a cost, while an in-app subscription is said to “enable a host” of added effects.
