Pioneer DJ reveals the all-in-one OPUS-QUAD

This is Pioneer’s first all-in-one system to feature standalone 4-deck playback

Pioneer DJ has created its first all-in-one system to feature standalone 4-deck playback named the OPUS-QUAD.

Expected to be out later this month, the new unit has been styled with a sloping deck plate and incorporates eight hot cues as well as customisable full-size jog wheels.

Aimed to "enhance the aesthetics of any environment" the OPUS-QUAD has a 10.1’ touchscreen that “harmonizes design and playability.”

The system is compatible with rekordbox Performance mode and Serato DJ Pro2 and features four USB ports as well as Bluetooth and WiFi pairing available.

It’s Beat FX control means that users can alter effects from the XY-pad which also has Smooth Echo and Sound Color FX available.

Other features include a loop encoder and smart cues that allow users to overwrite a cue position with your recalled hot cues.

Last week, Pioneer DJ released a new four-channel mixer, the DJM-A9 which is seen as the successor the DJM 900NX2, with upgrades to the sound quality, EQ, effects, microphone section and Beat FX.
