Pete Tong pairs iconic dance tracks with classical music on ‘Classic House’

A companion to Tong’s Ibiza Classics shows that will tour the UK

Pete Tong has announced a new album, ‘Classic House’, in collaboration with Jules Buckley and the Heritage Orchestra that will pair iconic dance tracks with classical music.

This bold move from one of the industry’s most influential figures follows last year’s ‘Ibiza Prom’ that featured Tong working with Jules Buckley and the Heritage Orchestra for the first time, along with its artistic director Chris Wheeler, to helm a show that fused dance music with an orchestra.

‘Classic House’ will build on what they started with ‘Ibiza Prom’, delivering three UK arena shows in late November and early December, along with the full-length album release produced by Mark Ralph.

Fans can expect the collaboration to deliver a euphoric take on Fatboy Slim’s anthem ‘Right Here Right Now’ and an innovative version of Faithless’ ‘Insomnia’ among others.

Pete Tong's ‘Classic House’ with The Heritage Orchestra will be available for pre-order on August 23.
