Paula Temple and Ricardo Villalobos join ADE bill

The festival is also launching a campsite, ADE Sleep/Over

The Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE) whetted our appetite for its 2016 edition back in June with the first announcement of names set to play the festival across October 19 to 23. Now it’s really got us excited with a mammoth second wave of artists added to the roster.

Heading up the reveal is the irrepressible Ricardo Villalobos, with fellow minimal masters such as Margaret Dygas, Rhadoo, Magda, Raresh and Mathew Jonson also set to play.

Detroit techno is well represented with Robert Hood, Jeff Mills and Derrick May making appearances, with international techno acts spanning Daniel Avery, Ben Klock Karenn, DJ Nobu, Paula Temple, Slam, Ellen Allien, Monika Kruse and Loco Dice.

Netherlands natives on the bill include Speedy J, JP Enfant, Noisia, Steve Rachmad and Nicky Romero, while Roman Flügel, Laurnet Garnier, Patrick Topping, Hot Since 82, Maceo Plex, Skepta, Miss Kittin, Ida Engberg, Gerd Janson, Crystal Castles, Jamie Jones, KiNK and Marcus Worgull will all be making the trip to the Dutch capital.

Hudson Mohawke, Soulection and Om’mas Keith are among the new additions to the keynote speakers conference line-up

ADE has also outlined it will be introducing a pop-up campsite named ADE Sleep/Over at the NDSM Shipyard this year. Situated 15 minutes from the city’s Central Station, the area will offer over 400 heated sleeping quarters.

ADE Sleep/Over will also host sections of the festival’s program with music events, artist talks and art installations.

Head to ADE’s website for further details.
