Pandora introduces new in-app Ticketfly extension

Today, Pandora launched its highly anticipated Ticketfly platform addition.

The music streaming service will now provide users with custom curated concert recommendations with the option to purchase tickets straight through the application. Show listings will be based on music taste, playlists and location. With either set geographic details or live location tracking, Pandora-plus-Ticketfly offers concert suggestions in your home city and by travel habits.

Artists and venues will be able to share specially tailored content for specific shows; the Pandora app will also gather vital data on bookings to help venues better track their success. With their recent partnership with Next Big Sound, the new extension also introduces artist social media and engagement information for venues to make the best bookings. Users will be able to purchase concert tickets to non-Ticketfly affiliated as well.

Pandora's new addition hopes to advance and benefit the artist, venue, and music streaming experience.
